Born in Swansea. Spent most of my working life as editor of Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru. Married Margaret Parry from Aberaeron in 1973. Have lived in Aberaeron since 1981. Our two children, Sara and Dafydd, received their primary and secondary educationsin Aberaeron and went to university in London, where they now live.
